International Children's Chess Games Begin
05.06.06: The International Children's Chess Games Vojvodina 2006 began at Novi Sad, Serbia. This eight day event is being held from July 1 st till July 9 th . Children from over 20 countries are to participate in this event. This tournament is under the patronage of the president of Executive Council of Vojvodina, H.E. Bojan Pajtic and former World Champion Anatoly Karpov. The opening ceremony took place in the Executive Council of Vojvodina on July 1st 2006. The FIDE President honored the International Children Chess Games Vojvodina 2006 among the developmental international competitions.
